Please note that this text was written by me and my mom in 2021, based on the journal written at the time by my sister, who was then 9 years old.
Slept well, we were tired from yesterday and rose in a good mood. Back to Leiston for grocery shopping, my sister guards the bikes while the others shop. We drive to Eastbridge and then through a nature reserve. When we got hungry, we sat down and had a picnic.
We ride to Westleton, it’s very warm and the sun burns on our head. We continue to Walberswick where we cross a river. My father said there would be a bridge and he was right. We ride by the port and go to Southwood, where we will stay two nights at the camping ground. We set up the tents and then my mom, my sister and I go to town to buy post cards, cycling back in the pouring rain. We eat at the tent, take a shower and my sister writes the daily journal entry.
